Abstract

Among the emerging sub-branches of philosophy is The Philosophy of Tafsir Science, which is currently in its formative stages and has become a subject of debate among contemporary Quranic researchers. This paper examines this discipline's relationship with auxiliary sciences and their connections to The Philosophy of Tafsir. Methodologically, the research is library-based and employs descriptive-analytical analysis. Key findings demonstrate that Quranic Sciences, through their varied definitions, can establish a bidirectional relationship with The Philosophy of Tafsir Science. The Logic of Tafsir, which addresses issues of tafsir methodology and epistemological perspectives, also shares profound ties with this philosophy. Additionally, the influence of semiotics on the foundational principles of hermeneutics constitutes a critical discussion within this field. Furthermore, diverse domains of linguistics significantly shape exegetes' interpretations (tafahīmāt) and the principles governing Quranic exegesis—particularly concerning lexical and syntactic rules (alfāẓ wa lafẓī qawāʿid,).
