Abstract

In the Quranic Lifestyle, love holds a central position—not merely as an emotion but as an act of worship and a comprehensive system of living. The Holy Quran presents various forms of love—love for Allah, affection for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Ahl al-Bayt (family), love for family and parents, and compassion for all people—as the foundation of a balanced society. Love for Allah is a requirement of faith, drawing the believer toward worship and justice. Love for the Prophet (PBUH) is an integral part of faith, and his life serves as a practical manifestation of love. Devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt is described as the reward of prophethood and a means of spiritual growth. Within family ties, love and mercy are emphasized as sources of tranquility, while kindness and respect toward parents are strongly encouraged. The Quran promotes brotherhood, cooperation, and selflessness among people, considering assistance to the poor, orphans, and travelers as acts of righteousness. Avoiding harm to others and collaborating in good deeds are highlighted as signs of piety. Overall, the Quranic lifestyle presents love as a comprehensive system that leads to human perfection, social harmony, and divine pleasure.
