Abstract

The Quranic legislative system embodies distinctive features unparalleled in human legislation - achievements beyond human reach prior to its revelation. Presented as a prophetic challenge (taḥaddī), its legislative miracle manifests through: (1) an exceptional, coherent legal framework perfectly harmonized with human nature, revealed during an era of cultural stagnation; (2) transformative societal impact; and (3) innovative juridical methodology grounded in divine wisdom. The Quran demonstrates advanced legal theorization whose complexities humanity only comprehended centuries later, with certain aspects remaining beyond complete human understanding - constituting supernatural knowledge (akhbār ghaibiyya). Its legislative supremacy further emerges through fundamental characteristics including: a theocentric foundation rooted in revelation; systematic legal structure correlating with divine attributes; governance through justice-based moral values; anthropological compatibility; balanced legislation avoiding extremes; gradual legal promulgation; maṣlaḥa
