Abstract

In the contemporary era, where the vast expansion of the cyber world and its deep influence on daily life can no longer be denied, parents are increasingly concerned about the upbringing of their children. Social media, as an attractive and ever-present domain, can easily become a source of intellectual and cultural deviation. Therefore, parents seek effective educational approaches grounded in the principles of the Qurʾān and Sunnah. Such approaches not only equip parents and children with strong resistance against irrational ideas but also help create a peaceful and secure environment for their holistic development. Educational methods, in this regard, can be divided into preventive and remedial strategies. Preventive methods include: making children aware of the dangers of cyberspace; introducing suitable family models; fostering emotional connections with religious and spiritual institutions; and promoting chastity and moral integrity among children. These measures enable children to discern between right and wrong in the digital realm and protect them from moral and ideological deviation. Similarly, enhancing social and interpersonal skills within the home environment contributes to creating a supportive and peaceful atmosphere for children. On the other hand, remedial methods include deleting inappropriate images and content, providing safe and suitable alternative platforms, developing critical thinking skills, and avoiding hasty trust in unreliable online sources. These methods empower parents to effectively face the challenges of cyberspace and guide their children toward a path of sound growth and development. This study, conducted through a descriptive-analytical method and based on library and digital data, concludes with findings that can assist parents in educating their children within the digital age. Ultimately, the implementation of these Qurʾān- and Sunnah-based methods can help establish a balanced and peaceful educational environment for children, both in the virtual and real worlds
